SIP is a network for poets, Spoken Word Artists, musicians, singrs and business professionals who support written and spoken arts. (That's a long list of poeple.) The goal of SIP is to simply serve as an extensional effort to promote poetry, spoken word and music. We support and promote other networks who share the philosophy of uplifting others selflessly. It is Important that we all remember to actively support those who are working hard to make things happen in the areas of Spoken Word and Poetry, including the individual artists. One day, we will be able to tune our car stereos to any radio station and hear spoken word artists sharing their art with the world. For now, we are able to listen to our work in a variety of forms thanks to internet radio programming, which is catching on by storm! In fact, you can listen to several of the best BTR Talk shows featured here on SIP by hosts who are members of the SIP network.
